Introduction

I do not run on pavement anymore. I enjoy trail runs because viewing nature is always better than viewing cars. I find that running in groups is more motivating & fun. I am the organizer of the Atlanta Trail Running Group.

Do you live in Norcross, or Gwinnett County?

I live 2 miles from Norcross in Johns Creek.

What do you like best about running trails?

Seeing nature.

What are your favorite trails in Gwinnett County?

My favorite Chattahoochee River trail run is Jones Bridge NRA -Barnwell Rd, Johns Creek. Across the river from Norcross. I also like Simpsonwood Trails in Norcross

Do you particpate in races (trail or road)?

I want to do a trail race every couple of years.

Thanks for the welcome Jay, I will be sure to check out the list of trails you have mentioned. Heading back down to GA for the Easter weekend.. looking forward to exploring a trail or two then. Lots of mud up here as it is rainy season, slipping and sliding is always fun- seems I am always muddy to the knees before noon these days! Hope to meet some of you all over the next few months- and perhaps attend an event!
